The required prior work experience for the bidder includes substantially completed works with a value of at least 90% of the original contract price, and the works should be continuing satisfactorily. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature in the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed include at least 90% of the original contract price, with the works continuing satisfactorily. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 50% of the estimated project cost. The amount and percentage of liquid assets and credit facilities required are up to 25% of the value of the contract/contracts applied. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of work executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and B is the value at the current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next period of completion of work. The bidder should have invested a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The lead partner in a joint venture should meet not less than 50% of all criteria, and the experience of other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria.
