The bidder is required to have prior work experience, specifically in the last five years, as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor, with execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works are defined as those that are at least 90% completed. The bidder should provide information on the name of the work, name of the employer, quantity of work performed, and remarks indicating the contract reference for each year. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of at least the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. The contract value for joint ventures is applicable only for estimated project costs of 50 Crore and above, and the bidder should have access to or have available liquid assets and/or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied.
