The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as a prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder needs to provide details of work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, where the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents. The details to be provided include the name of the project, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The value of similar works completed is to be provided in Rs. Crore, and the bidder needs to provide this information for the last five years and the current year before the submission of the bid.
