The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years. They should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed. The bidder should provide information on the quantity of work performed in the past five years, including the type of work, employer, and contract reference. They should also provide details for each year from 2019-2020 to 2023-2024, including the name of the work, employer, quantity of work performed, and remarks indicating the type of work. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder should have completed at least 90% of the original contract price for substantially completed works, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. For joint ventures, the lead partner should meet at least 50% of the qualifying criteria, and other partners should have experience that is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. Additionally, they should demonstrate access to liquid assets of up to 25% of the contract value and invest a minimum cash amount up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract.
