The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar works, such as highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should provide information on the value of similar works completed, including the value of the contract. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder is also required to undertake to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. Additionally, the bidder should provide a list of works completed in the last five years, including the value of the contract. A certificate from the employers shall be submitted along with the application, incorporating clearly the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, satisfactory performance of the contractor, and any other relevant information.
