The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: * Experience of similar works completed in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. * Execution of all main items of work described in the bid document as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. * Completion of works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. * Satisfactory completion of at least three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated project cost, in the last seven years. * Completion of similar works in the last five years with a total value of at least Rs. 20 lakhs. * Experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and / or bridge works) airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of proposed contract within the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: * The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature with a value of at least Rs. 20 Crore. * The bidder should have completed at least 20% of the total value of the contract as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. * The bidder should have completed at least 20% of the total value of the works as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor. * The bidder should have completed works of a value not less than 40% of the estimated project cost. * The bidder should have completed at least one contract of highway (road and / or bridge works) airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of proposed contract within the last five years.
