The class eligibility requirement to bid or participate in this tender is A Class and Special Category-II (Road).

The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2 - B), where A = Maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years, B = Value at current price level of the existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next period of completion of work for which bids are invited, and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited. In case of joint venture, the available bid capacity will be applied for each partner to the extent of his proposed participation in the execution of the work. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on bid capacity, including existing commitments and ongoing works, as well as the value of works remaining to be completed, along with the anticipated date of completion and certificates from the engineer(s) in-charge. The percentage to apply the value of the work not completed representing the Employer’s additional cost for completing the Works is 20 per cent. The bid security amount is as shown in column 4 of the table of IFB for the particular work. The qualification criteria for bidders include their experience, personnel, equipment capabilities, and financial positions, with specific requirements for general and particular experience, personnel and equipment capabilities, and financial positions. However, the specific value or formula for bid capacity is provided as mentioned above.
