The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should have completed at least 90% or more of the original contract price for the last three similar works. Additionally, the bidder must have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for. The bidder is also required to provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, as well as details of specific projects completed, including the value of the contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years are also to be provided, including details such as cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder should have completed at least 90% of the original contract price for substantially completed works, and at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract for similar works completed within the last five years.
