The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically in the last five years, including the current year, before the submission of the bid. They must have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five years. The substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder needs to provide details of work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in the last five years, including the project name, employer's name, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. They must also provide a certificate from the engineer-in-charge to support their claims. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - 90 percent completion of substantially completed works. The value of the contract is to be provided in Rs. Crore. In case of a joint venture, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The bidder should submit a certificate from the employers incorporating clearly the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, and satisfactory performance of the contractor. The bidder must have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for in any one year, over the last five years.
