The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The experience should include execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work performed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work. A list of works completed should also be provided, including details such as the name of the work, name of the employer, contract number, value of contract, and dates of completion. For substantially completed works, the bidder should have completed at least 90% of the original contract price. The bidder should also have access to liquid assets or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract. The lead partner in a joint venture should meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, while other joint venture partners should meet not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value of contracts completed should be mentioned in Rs. Crore, with certificates from the Engineer(s)-in-charge attached. Threshold values of Rs.50 lakhs, Rs.15 lakhs, and Rs.5 lakhs are mentioned for different requirements.
