The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically in highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for in any one year over the last five years. They should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - A minimum of 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. - Substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed as on the date of submission, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. - The bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value. - The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed as prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years, including cement concrete, masonry, earth works, and bituminous work. Additionally, the bidder should provide a certificate from the employer incorporating clearly the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, and satisfactory performance of the contractor. The bidder's experience will be evaluated based on their financial participation in the joint venture, if applicable. The weight towards experience of the project would be given to each joint venture in proportion to their financial participation in the joint venture.
