Regional District Of Bulkley Nechako Tender

The Regional District Of Bulkley-nechako (rdbn) Nechako Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents For The Development Of A Conceptual Design Study For An Accessible Multi-use Trail Along Highway 35. The Study Will Outline Technically Feasible Conceptual Alignment Options For The Trail, Which Will Run Between The Village Of Burns Lake And Tchesinkut Lake (approximately 12 Km).  The Trail Is Intended To Provide Residents With A Recreation Amenity And A Safe And Enjoyable Alternative To Commuting By Motor Vehicle. The Work Includes Collecting And Reviewing Background Information Relevant To Trail Alignment And Design, Identifying The Major Constraints And Opportunities Relating To Alignment Through Field And Desktop Review, And Preparing Concept Alignment Drawings And A High-level Cost Estimate.  The Work Also Includes Working With Regulatory Agencies, First Nations, And Community Stakeholders As Necessary To Identify The Preferred Trail Alignment Options And Preliminary Costing.
