The bidder is required to have prior work experience in the same name and style for the last five years. The information requested includes the quantity of work performed, which should tally with the specified items, including earthworks, granular sub-base and base, and plant mix paver laid bituminous work. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works (excluding maintenance cost for five years) in any one year. The bidder should have also satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years). The percentage of similar works completed is one-third of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on existing commitments and ongoing works, including the description of work, place, contract number, name and address of the employer, value of contract, stipulated period of completion, and value of works remaining to be completed. The bidder should also provide evidence of access to financial resources, including cash in hand and lines of credit, with an amount for access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources/ facilities being 10 percent of the contract value. The bidder must provide a proposal for subcontracting the components of the works for construction/ Up gradation aggregating not more than 25% of the contract price. The indexing rate for the minimum financial turnover is 8 percent for a year.
