The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Additionally, for tenders having advertised value more than Rs 20 crore, the tenderer's available bid capacity is calculated based on their previous work experience. The available bid capacity is calculated as [A x N x 2] - 0.33xNxB, where A is the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year. In another instance, the required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, with a value of not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or one similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience is required.
