The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, the required prior work experience includes successfully completing at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder should have valid work experience certificates from Government Organisation, or a Public listed company having average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in last 3 financial years. In terms of value, the similar works should be of a certain value, such as above Rs. 50 Lakhs for construction of any type of building. For specific types of works, the value ranges from above Rs.25 lakh to below Rs.200 lacs. The percentages of similar works completed mentioned are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, the bidder should have a certain amount of available bid capacity, calculated based on the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received, existing commitments, and balance amount of ongoing works, for tenders with advertised value of Rs.20 crore.
