The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering works, specifically in works such as roads, bridges, airports, railways, or tunneling. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. Additionally, the bidder's bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should provide information on the value of the total contract and the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The amount should be provided in the relevant currency, with figures in INR worked out as per SBI Foreign Currency selling rates prevalent on 01.04.20. The bidder should also provide details of similar works completed, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion.
