The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar works, such as Roads, Bridges, Airport, Railways, Tunneling, or others, with specified requirements including earthwork, Granular sub-base/base, RE Walls, and Concrete in bridges. The bidder should provide information on their experience in similar works, including the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder is required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years immediately preceding the Financial Year in which bids are invited. The bidder is required to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value during the implementation of the work and have access to lines of credit and other financial resources facilities of at least 10% of the contract value. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project/work. Values and percentages mentioned include: - 80% of the estimated cost of work for one similar work - 50% of the estimated cost of work for two similar works - 40% of the estimated cost of work for three similar works - 40% of the estimated cost of work for minimum annual financial turnover - 25% of the contract value for minimum cash investment - 10% of the contract value for lines of credit and other financial resources facilities.
