The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completed projects that are similar in nature to the works, with specific requirements. The bidder should have completed projects with more than 40% of the project cost executed during the last five years, or a single running project that is similar in nature, completed to the extent of 80% or more, with a value of not less than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed at least one similar nature of work with a magnitude of more than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job, or at least two similar nature of works with a magnitude of each of minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job. The values and percentages of similar works completed are: - 40% of the project cost - 80% or more completion of a single running project - 40% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job - 30% of the estimated amount put to tender for each of two works. These values and percentages may be reduced in the case of 2nd or 3rd calls, to 30%, 25%, and 20% respectively. The bidder's available Bid Capacity at the expected time of bidding should not be less than the Estimated amount put to tender of intended job, and the Net Worth for the current assessment year should be positive, with available liquid assets and/or credit facilities not less than 10% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should also own or arrange machineries through lease hold agreement, and should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar nature of work under the authority of State/Central Gov., State/Central Gov. undertaking, Statutory/Autonomous Bodies constituted under the statute of the Central / State Government.
