The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: * Achieving a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value up to Rs 200 lakhs and 75% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value more than Rs 200 lakhs. * Completing or substantially completing (not less than 90% of contract value) at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value. * Executing in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work (not less than 40% of the estimated quantity). The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 1/3rd (one-third) of the estimated value for similar work. - 90% or more of the original contract price for substantially completed works. - 40% of the estimated quantity for major items of work. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, with details of works underway or contractually committed, and a minimum annual financial turnover amount. The bidder should also have an assessed available bid capacity and evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, which is a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value. The bidder needs to provide an undertaking that they would be able to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of work during the implementation of the contract.
