The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Project Manager: B.E. Civil + 5 to 7 Years Exp. - Site Engineer: B.E. Civil + 3 Years Exp. - Quality Engineer: B.E. Civil. Or Dip. Civil. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years as a prime contractor. - The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% (or 2/3rd) of the estimated cost of the package in any one year. - The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than one third (1/3rd) of the estimated cost of the work. - The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. - The value of single similar work is 1/3rd of the NIT value. - The quantities of major works are 40% of the estimated quantities. - The annual financial turnover amount is 2/3rd of the NIT value. - The bidder's available bid capacity at the expected time of bidding should be more than the total bid value, calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. - The liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities should be 10% of the NIT value.
