The bid capacity required is also related to the net worth of the company for the current assessment year, and the bidder should have access to or have available liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash-in-hand, uncommitted Bank Guarantees) and/or credit facilities not less than 10% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder's net worth for the last year, calculated on the basis of capital, profit, and free reserve available to the firm, should be positive. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in projects similar in nature to the works with more than 40% of the project cost executed during the last five years from the date of NIT. For single running projects, the bidder should have completed to the extent of 80% or more and the value of which is not less than the value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job. The bidder should have prior work experience in engineering works, specifically in projects such as turnkey projects, item rate contracts, and construction works. The bidder's experience will be evaluated based on the value of engineering works undertaken during the last 5 years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - 40% of the estimated amount put to tender for a single work - 30% of the estimated amount put to tender for each of the two works - 80% completion of a single running work - 40% of the estimated amount put to tender for a single running work - 30% in case of 2nd Call, 20% in case of 3rd Call for a single work - 75% in case of 2nd Call, 70% in case of 3rd Call for a single running work. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least the estimated amount put to tender. The bidder's bid capacity should not be less than the estimated amount put to tender. Additionally, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed as a prime agency at least one similar nature of work with a magnitude of more than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender, or at least two similar nature of works with a magnitude of each of minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender. The bidder can also produce a credential of at least one single running similar nature of work which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, and the value of which is not less than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender.
