The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. For building construction, the bidder should have completed similar works with specific requirements, such as: - Upto three storeys buildings: No binding - Four to six storeys buildings: Minimum one building of two storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to two storey - Seven to ten storeys buildings: Minimum one building of five storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to five storey - More than ten storey buildings: Minimum one building of eight storey or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to eight storey The bidder should have completed similar works with a value, with specific requirements such as: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender - Two similar works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender The value of executed works should be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual executed value of work at a simple interest rate of 7% per annum. For electrical works, the bidder should have executed similar electrical works under Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU etc. for a minimum amount of 40% of the electrification works. For firefighting works, the bidder should have executed similar works under Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU etc. for a minimum amount of 40% of the works. The required percentage of similar works completed is 80% of the estimated cost of the proposed project. Additionally, the bidder should possess a valid license for executing electrical, firefighting, and other allied works, and should have executed similar works under Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU etc. for a minimum amount during the last 5 years. The bidder should also have 5 years of experience in works of a similar nature, with B.E Civil + 5 Yrs Exp. Or Dip. Civil + 7 years Exp. for Site Engineer (Civil). The bidder should have access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 10% of estimated cost) certified by the bankers. The bidder should provide information on the total monetary value of construction work performed during each of the last five years, and quantities of work executed in the last 7 years. The bidder should have experience in the field of civil engineering construction and should claim specialization in a particular field. The bidder should provide certificates from the Engineer-In-Charge and Chartered Accountant to support their claims. The bidder should provide proposals, if any, for sub-contracting of elements of work, costing more than 10% of the bid amount. The bidder should have completed similar works during the last 7 years, with specific requirements for different types of projects. The bidder should have experience as a prime contractor, with a specific number of years of experience in their own country and other countries. The bidder should provide information on their equipment and personnel, including the type and number of equipment, as well as the qualifications and experience of their personnel. The bidder should provide information on their bid capacity, including existing commitments and ongoing works, as well as works for which bids have already been submitted. The estimated value of works and the stipulated period of completion should also be provided. The bidder should have liquid assets or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the contract value, and should submit their audited balance sheet for the last 5 years.
