The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in construction works, with specific emphasis on similar nature of works such as Multi Storied RCC Works, Sanitary & Water Supply Works, and Electrical Works in Building. The bidder should have experience in using heavy earthmoving equipment and quality control in compaction of soils, as well as experience in mechanized granular pavement construction and construction of asphaltic overlays. The bidder should have completed similar works under Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU etc. for a minimum amount of 40% of the works as indicated in Appendix-I during the last 5 years ending last day of submission of tender in a single job. The required prior work experience for the bidder is as follows: - Three similar completed works, each cost not less than 40% of the Estimated cost put to tender. - Two similar completed works, each cost not less than 60% of the Estimated cost put to tender. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the Estimated cost put to tender. For building works, the number of storeys for the purpose of definition of similar work may be taken as under: - Upto three storeys buildings: No binding - Four to six storeys buildings: Minimum one building of two storeys Or completing balance Construction work of one building (i/c structural work) minimum up to two storey. - Seven to ten storeys buildings: Minimum one building of five storeys Or completing balance Construction work of one building. (i/c structural work) minimum up to five storey - More than ten storey buildings: Minimum one building of eight storey Or completing balance Construction work of one building. (i/c structural work) minimum up to eight storey Each basement, stilt constructed in the building shall be considered as a storey. In case the work involves construction of two or more basements, then it is to be stipulated in the definition of similar work that the agency should have executed one similar work with minimum one basement under one agreement. The bidder should have executed similar works under Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU etc. for a minimum amount of 40% of the works as indicated in Appendix-I during the last 5 years ending last day of submission of tender in a single job. This includes electrical and other allied works, as well as Fire-fighting and other allied works. For basement construction, the agency should have executed one similar work with a minimum of one basement under one agreement. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual executed value of work at a simple interest rate of 7% per annum. The bidder should also have a solvency of minimum 40% of the Estimate cost put to tender or a Net-worth certificate of minimum 10% of the Estimate cost put to tender.
