The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: * Experience as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in works of a similar nature over the last five years. * Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last seven years. * Total monetary value of construction work performed during each of the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: * Three similar works each costing not less than Rs.1,40,28,450 (40% of the estimated cost of the project) * Two similar works each costing not less than Rs.1,75,35,563 (50% of the estimated cost of the project) * One similar work costing not less than Rs.2,80,56,901 (80% of the estimated cost of the project) * A minimum of 25% of the contract value of work should be invested by the bidder during implementation of the work. * The bidder should have a minimum solvency of Rs.1,40,28,450/- (40% of Estimate cost put to tender) or a Net-worth certificate of minimum Rs.35,07,113/- (10% of Estimate cost put to tender). * The bidder should have liquid assets and/or credit facilities of not less than Rs.35,07,113/- (10% of contract price). Specific experience requirements for key personnel are: * Project Manager: 7 years as a manager with a B.E in Civil. * Site Engineer (civil): 5 years with a B.E in Civil or 7 years with a Diploma in Civil. * Quality Control Engineer: 5 years with a B.E in Civil or 7 years with a Diploma in Civil. * Quantity surveyor: 5 years with a B.E in Civil or 7 years with a Diploma in Civil.
