This Request For Proposals (the “rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Government Of Manitoba (“manitoba”), As Represented By The Department Of Environment And Climate Change, Parks And Trails Branch (“ecc”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For Clearing And Grubbing Work In Advance Of New Roadway Construction As Further Described In Section 1 Of The Rfp Particulars (appendix 3) (the “work”). The Work Is Being Done On The Hecla Road Between Hecla Village And Gull Harbour Resort At The North End Of Hecla Island Provincial Park, Manitoba. The Work Site Location Will Be Partially Occupied During Construction With Road Traffic. Procurement Services Is Administering This Rfp Process On Behalf Of Ecc. For The Purposes Of This Procurement Process, The “rfp Contact” Will Be: Contract Administrator: Li Li Email: Cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca Proponents And Their Representatives Are Not Permitted To Contact Any Employees, Officers, Agents, Elected Or Appointed Officials, Or Other Representatives Of Manitoba Or Ecc Other Than The Rfp Contact, Concerning Matters Regarding This Rfp. Failure To Adhere To This Rule May Result In The Disqualification Of The Proponent And The Rejection Of The Proponent’s Proposal. An Optional Site Visit Has Been Scheduled As Follows: Location: Hecla Road (highway 8) Just North Of Hecla Village. (see Appendix 3 For Site Map) Date And Time: January 10, 2025 11:00 Am Local Time Proponents Are To Meet At Location Prior To 11:00 Am To Sign The Site Attendance Sheet. Proponents Are To Pre-register By Email To The Project Manager At Ryan.wakshinski@gov.mb.ca. It Is The Proponents Responsibility To Ensure Registration And Confirmation Has Been Received Prior To The Meeting. Deadline For Registration Is The End Of The Business Day January 9, 2025. Attendance At The Site Visit Will Be Confirmed And Recorded. Proponents Are Not Entitled To Rely On Information Received From Ecc, Ecc’s Representatives Or Other Third Parties At The Site Visit Unless The Rfp Contact Has Provided The Information In Writing.
