The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works during the last seven years. The experience criteria are as follows: - Three similar completed or substantially completed works each of value not less than 40% of the advertised cost of the work. - Two similar completed or substantially completed works each of value not less than 50% of the average of the limit of the group. - One similar completed or substantially completed work of value not less than 80% of the advertised cost of the work. Substantial completion means that works are 80% or more completed under the contract. The bidder should have prior work experience in similar works, with the following options: - Two similar completed or substantially completed works each of value not less than 50% of the average of the limit of the group. - One similar completed or substantially completed work of value not less than 80% of the advertised cost of the work. The bidder should have completed similar works with a minimum value of 50% or 80% of the advertised cost, depending on the option chosen. For arriving at the cost of similar work, the value of work executed shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum. The cost of similar work can be calculated by bringing the value of work executed to the current costing level, with a 7% per annum escalation. In case of joint venture, experience only up to the applicant's share by value shall be considered during evaluation of the bids. The lead partner should have financial capability to meet cash flow requirement of subject contract, not less than 51% of the respective limits prescribed, while the second partner should have not less than 26% of the respective limits prescribed. However, the overall sum of all shall aggregate to 100% of the prescribed experience/turn over clause. The bidder should have completed at least 80% (value wise) or more works under the contract. The bidder should submit a year-wise list of works completed during the last five years, along with performance certificates. The annual turnover from construction/works for the last three financial years should be at least 30% of the advertised cost for each year. The bidder should have an average annual turnover of at least 30% of the advertised cost for the last three financial years.
