The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience as a prime contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. However, in Naxal or Left Wing Extremist affected districts, specifically in Malkangiri and Koraput districts, the figure is one-fourth of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should also have achieved, in any one year, a minimum financial turnover equivalent to 60% of the amount put to bid if the amount is Rs. 200 lakhs, and 75% if the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs. In Naxal or Left Wing Extremist affected districts, the figure of 75% would be replaced by 50%. At least 50% of the bidder's financial turnover should be from Civil Engineering construction works. Additionally, the bidder is required to provide information on work performed as a prime contractor in the same name and style on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years, along with details of existing commitments and ongoing construction works. A maintenance engineer with a degree/diploma in civil engineering and three years of experience is also required. The bidder must have key equipment for road works and field testing laboratory, but no specific values or percentages are provided for this requirement. The total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years should be provided, along with details of works in progress or contractually committed, and certificates from the concerned officer. The bidder should provide information on the value of contracts and the actual date of completion, along with remarks explaining reasons for delay, if any. The bidder should also provide information on existing commitments and ongoing construction works, including the description of work, place and state, contract number and date, name and address of the employer, value of contract, stipulated period of completion, and value of works remaining to be completed.
