Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder is required to have prior work experience in construction works of a similar nature and volume, specifically as a main contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. They should provide the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years, along with certificates from the concerned officer. To qualify for the award of the contract, each bidder should have, in the last five years, satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/Left Wing Extremist affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this clause. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover, with at least 50% of it being from civil engineering construction works, equivalent to 60% of the amount put to bid if it is Rs. 200 lakhs or less, or 75% of the amount put to bid if it is more than Rs. 200 lakhs. In Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts, these figures are 50% instead of 60% and 75%. The financial turnover achieved on account of execution of road works under PMGSY shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this sub-clause.
