The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work. - Maintenance Engineer with degree/diploma in Civil Engineering and minimum 3 years of experience. - Experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for individual contracts. - Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The values and percentages mentioned are: - One-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work. - 75% (replaced by 50% in case of Naxal / Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts) of the amount put to bid if it's more than Rs. 200 lakhs, and 60% if it's Rs. 200 lakhs or less. - 8% per year for indexing turnover. - Rs. Five crores as the threshold value for maintenance contracts. - 10 percent of the contract value for evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources. Additionally, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works with a value equal to or more than the specified percentage of the estimated cost of the work, and achieved a minimum financial turnover, with at least 50% of it being from civil engineering construction works.
