Fire Detection Alarm, Releasing Devices And Peripherals ● Check All Wiring Systems. ● Check The Control Panels. ● Check All End-of-line Resistors. ● Check Alternating Current (ac) And Direct Current (dc) Wiring. ● Check All Field Circuits. ● Check The Control Panel Power Supplied To The Control Unit From A Separate Dedicated Source That Will Not Be Shut Down On System Operation. ● Verify If There’s An Adequate And Reliable Primary And 24-hour Minimum Standby Sources Of Energy Are Used. ● Verify All Auxiliary Functions For Proper Operation In Accordance With System Requirements. ● Verify If The Detection Devices Are In Proper Type And Location As Specified On The System Drawings. ● Verify Detectors If They Are Not Located Near Obstructions Or Air Ventilation And Cooling Equipment. ● Verify If Manual Pull Stations Are Properly Installed, Readily Accessible, Accurately Identified, And Properly Protected To Prevent Damage. ● Verify All Manual Stations Used To Release Agents, Require Two Separate And Distinct Actions For Operation And Properly Identified. ● Verify If The Main/reserve Switches Are Properly Installed, Readily Accessible, And Clearly Identified. 6. Testing ● Disable Each Agent Storage Container Release Mechanism.
