The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience of similar work during the last 7 years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. Alternatively, they should have completed at least two similar works of value not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender, or at least three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The actual value of such similar executed works shall be increased at a simple rate of 7% per annum to bring it to the current costing level. Additionally, the bidder should have executed at least 30% of the work cost put to tender during the immediate last three consecutive financial years. The experience of work should be under a Central/State Govt. Department and its Undertakings. The bidder is also required to provide details of similar works, including the project name, employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and cost of work after completion of contract. Certificates from the Engineer-in-charge (not below the rank of Executive Engineer) for the similar works completed should also be attached. For evaluation purposes, 60% marks are allocated for minimum eligibility criteria, and 100% marks for twice the minimum eligibility criteria or more, with pro-rata basis for in-between values. The parameter for experience in similar works is given 20 marks. Specific percentage values for similar works completed are mentioned as 80%, 60%, 40%, and 30% of the estimated cost put to tender, and the bidder should have completed the works satisfactorily.
