The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume. As a prime contractor, the bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. As a sub-contractor, the bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and volume over the last seven years. For certain works, the bidder must have experience with at least 95% completion of the original contract price or enhanced contract price. The bidder should also provide information on work performed as a sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last seven years. The bidder needs to provide a certificate from the Engineer-in-charge for works completed as a prime contractor and a certificate from the Principal Employer (Main Client) for works completed as a sub-contractor. The bidder should demonstrate the availability of equipment, such as concrete batches plant and fixed form concrete paver, depending on the cost of the work. Specific values and percentages are mentioned for certain types of works: - For works involving cement concrete pavement costing less than Rs. 5.00 Crores, the bidder should demonstrate the availability of a concrete batches plant and fixed form concrete paver. - For works involving cement concrete pavement costing Rs. 5.00 Crores and above, the bidder should demonstrate the availability of a concrete batches plant and slip form paver. - For works put to tender from Rs. 25.01 Lacs to Rs. 64.00 Lacs, technical evaluation shall be carried out as per the requirement specified. - For works put to tender from Rs. 64.01 Lacs onwards, qualification criteria are required to be fulfilled. - Experience in works of a similar nature and size is required for bidders participating in tenders costing more than Rs. 25.00 lacs. - The lead partner in a joint venture should meet at least 50% of the qualification criteria, and each remaining partner should meet at least 25% of the criteria. The joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria.
