The use of online platforms, with live seminars and conferences, pre-recorded conferences, self-instruction courses, are among others, the most used options of this new normal . In addition to the challenges that technological infrastructures represent, online teaching for adults generally takes place during working hours, so achieving their participation and dedication to achieve the learning objectives becomes an important challenge [1]. In order to ensure that the technical cooperation provided to Member States through preparedness for health emergencies and disasters, including COVID-19, is of quality, and has a positive impact on reducing the risk of future emergencies and disasters, it is essential to work on strengthening adult education, especially for health professionals immersed in these areas, based on the generation and strengthening of competencies, and contemplating the use of the best possible evidence in its design and implementation. Objective of the consultancy Develop the document and course of online and face-to-face training and training standards for personnel responsible for responding to COVID-19 and preparing for health emergencies and disasters.
