This Request For Proposal (“rfp”) Is An Invitation To Qualified Proponents To Submit Proposals For Supportive/transitional Housing Opportunities For Individuals Who Have Experienced Homelessness. The Target Population Shall Be Individuals Who Are, Or Have Been, Chronically Homeless And/or Are Active On The County’s By Name List (bnl). Overall, The County Is Seeking Proposals That Offer Accommodation For Up To 10 Individuals On A Single Property (or Less In Accordance With Local Zoning By-laws), With A Range Of Support Services In Accordance With The Needs Of The Targeted Individuals. Funding Is Available To Support Up To Four Individual Projects Throughout The County. In Support Of A Prospective Proposal, The County Is Offering A Combination Of Both Operating And Capital Funding, As Follows: • Capital Funding - Up To $500,000 (or Up To $50,000 Per Bed) Towards The Purchase And/or Repair Of A Building That Is Suitable For Transitional/supportive Housing. • Operating Funding - Annual Funding To Facilitate Ongoing Support Services To Prospective Short-term Tenants. Funding Amounts Will Be Determined Based On The Number Of Beds Proposed, As Well As The Extent Of The Supports Provided In Line With The Operating Funding In Section 2.4.  Further Information Regarding The Scope Of Work Is Included In Section 2.0 - Terms Of Reference.
