The Purpose Of This Request For Proposal (rfp) Is To Solicit Prospective Proponents (including Non-profit And For-profit Organizations), To Submit Proposals For The Development Of A Mixed-market Rental Building At 385-387 Dundas Street, In The City Of Woodstock. This Rfp Invites Proponents To Submit Proposals To Construct An 8-storey Apartment Building, With A Minimum Of 35 Rental Units, Including A Minimum Of 15 At Affordable Rental Rates. Further Details Regarding The Concept For The Proposed Development Is Available On The Attached Site Plan (appendix F). The Proposed Development Shall Consist Of A Mix Of Affordable And Market Rental Units. Proposals That Offer A Greater Number Of Affordable Units Will Be Given Higher Priority. In Support Of The Project, The County Is Proposing To Contribute The Following: Value Of The Land Located, Being Approximately $600,000 As Of September 2024. Full Value Of Development Charges (affordable Housing Units Only), Plus A Reduction For Market Rental Units In Accordance With The Development Charges Act. Up To $1.2 Million In Capital Funding To Support The Development Of New Affordable Rental Housing Units. Additional Federal/provincial Funding May Become Available At The Discretion Of The County (proponents Should Submit Proposals Without Taking This Into Consideration).
