The bid capacity required in the given tender can be represented in terms of the minimum number of transport vehicles and their capacity to carry foodgrains. The minimum number of vehicles required is 2, and each vehicle must have a capacity to carry foodgrains of quantity to the tune of 9 M.T. (metric tons) or more at a time. This can be expressed as: Total capacity ≥ 2 vehicles * 9 M.T./vehicle Total capacity ≥ 18 M.T. Additionally, there are performance security formulas based on the difference between the estimated cost and the bid amount: 1. Below 5%, No Additional Performance Security 2. From 5% and above and below 10%, 50% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and Bid Amount) 3. From 10% up to 14.99%, 150% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and Bid Amount) The estimated value of the contract is calculated using the formula: EVC = (Monthly Wheat Requirement of RRC1 in Qtl. X SoR in Rs. Per Qtl. of RRC1 from FSD, FCI X 24 months) + (Monthly Wheat Requirement of RRC2 in Qtl. X SoR in Rs. Per Qtl. of RRC2 from FSD, FCI X 24 months) + ….. so on for all RRCs. Bidders must also meet specific financial and technical criteria, including having experience in Transportation/ Handling & Transportation of foodgrains with an average annual turnover of the work value, and paying the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) required, which is Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakhs) or 5% of the estimated value of the contract, whichever is higher.
