The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar work, which is a composite work of drilling, energization, and commissioning. In the case of a single prime contractor, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 511.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. In the case of a joint venture, the bidder or their identified sub-contractor should have satisfactorily completed similar work of value not less than Rs. 204.00 Lakhs for drilling of deep bore wells, and not less than Rs. 307.00 Lakhs for electrical works, which are 40% and 60% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor, respectively. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. The qualifying quantity can be calculated as 0.4 x (estimated quantity of work) x 12 months/period of completion. Additionally, the bidder needs to furnish work experience for the last 5 years, supported by a certificate from an authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer or any other competent authority. A weightage of 10% per year shall be given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should also have satisfactory completion of similar major items of work, with a minimum quantity of 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution, in the last five years. The bidder needs to provide proof of completion of such works, and failure to submit proof will result in non-consideration of the tender.
