The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar work as a prime contractor. In the case of a single prime contractor, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 651.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. For joint ventures, the bidder or their identified sub-contractor should have completed similar work with a value of not less than Rs. 260.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor. Additionally, the bidder or their sub-contractor should possess a valid electrical license and have executed similar electrical works with a value of not less than Rs. 391.00 Lakhs, which is 60% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. The qualifying quantity can be calculated as 0.4 x (estimated quantity of work) x 12 months/period of completion. The bidder's work experience for the last 5 years should be supported by a certificate from an authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer or any other competent authority. A weightage of 10% per year will be given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should also have a minimum working capital requirement of 20% of the amount put to tender, which can be met out of bank credit or an irrevocable affidavit in stamp paper to provide the balance working capital from own sources or others, with liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities should be no less than Rs. 326.00 Lakhs.
