The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing similar works within a specified timeframe. For subletting work costing above Rs 50 lakh, the subcontractor must have completed at least one similar work in the last 5 years, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subletted. However, for work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no prior experience is required. In another scenario, the tenderer must have completed one of the following: three similar works each costing at least 30% of the advertised tender value, two similar works each costing at least 40% of the advertised tender value, or one similar work costing at least 60% of the advertised tender value, all within the last 7 years. For composite works, similar requirements apply, with the percentages (30%, 40%, 60%) relative to the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder must submit supporting documents such as work orders, bills of quantities, and payment details to verify the work experience.
