For a single work: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender (three similar works) - 40% of the advertised value of the tender (two similar works) - 60% of the advertised value of the tender (one similar work) Given the tender value is Rs. 50.00 Cr, the calculations are: - 30% of 50 Cr = 15 Cr (three similar works) - 40% of 50 Cr = 20 Cr (two similar works) - 60% of 50 Cr = 30 Cr (one similar work) 2. For composite works, the calculation depends on the value of each component. For the given components: - A: Rs. 23 Cr, - B: Rs. 15 Cr, - C: Rs. 5 Cr, - D: Rs. 4 Cr, - E: Rs. 3 Cr The bid capacity for each component can be calculated as: - For component A (Rs. 23 Cr): - 30% of 23 Cr = 6.9 Cr (three similar works) - 40% of 23 Cr = 9.2 Cr (two similar works) - 60% of 23 Cr = 13.8 Cr (one similar work) - Similar calculations can be done for other components based on their values. Additionally, the available bid capacity can be calculated using the formula: Available Bid capacity = [AxNx2] - 0.33xNxB Where: A = Maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited B = Existing commitments and balance amount of ongoing works The bid capacity required is also related to the Average Annual Contractual Turnover, which is calculated as: Average Annual Contractual Turnover = Total contractual payments in the previous three financial years / 3 And the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N, where: V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited.
