The required prior work experience for the bidder includes substantially completed work or completed work. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The similar nature of work is "Any civil engineering work." The advertised value of the tender is Rs. 9,32,93,668.25. So, the required prior work experience values are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of Rs. 9,32,93,668.25, which is Rs. 2,79,88,100.48 - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of Rs. 9,32,93,668.25, which is Rs. 3,73,17,467.30 - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of Rs. 9,32,93,668.25, which is Rs. 5,59,76,200.95 Additionally, for subletting work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
