Bid Capacity
The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value and formulas is:
Minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or "V" whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited.
Given the Advertised Value of the tender is 24559760.32 and the period of completion is 120 Days, we can calculate the bid capacity required as follows:
V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees = 24559760.32 / 10000000 = 24.55976
N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work = 120 / 365 = 0.3288 (approximately)
So, the minimum average annual contractual turnover required is:
V/N = 24.55976 / 0.3288 ≈ 74.69
or "V" whichever is less, so the minimum average annual contractual turnover required is 24.55976.
Therefore, the bid capacity required is: Minimum average annual contractual turnover of 24.55976 or 74.69 whichever is less.
The formula for calculating the average annual contractual turnover is:
Average Annual Contractual Turnover = (Total Contractual Payments in previous 3 years) / 3
Additionally, for composite works, the bid capacity required is:
Costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender.
The formula for this can be expressed as:
Bid Capacity ≥ 0.6 * Advertised Value
Where Bid Capacity is the minimum amount required to bid, and Advertised Value is the value of each component of the tender as advertised.
