The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing certain works within the last 07 years. The bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For similar nature of work, the bidder should have completed works involving consumption of minimum - 03 works, each of 30% of tendered quantity, - 02 works, each of 40% of tendered quantity, - 01 work with 60% of tendered quantity. Substantially Completed Work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. In case of subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
