The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the completion of similar works. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of advertised value of the tender. Alternatively, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - One work similar to the work proposed, costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - Or two similar works, each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - Or one similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For substantially completed work, it means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation) has been made to the contractor. The credential certificate for such work should have been issued not prior to 60 days of the date of invitation of the present tender. The value of completed work is considered as the completion cost of work, which includes the final bill amount and PVC amount (if paid). For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including PVC amount (if paid), is considered as the cost of substantially completed work. The average annual contractual turnover of the bidder should be minimum V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. In case of similar works, the overall cost, including PVC amount (if paid), is considered for fulfillment of technical credentials. No separate evaluation is made for each component of the work. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the completion of similar works with specific percentages and amounts, such as 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and the amount of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. The bidder's experience as a subcontractor is also considered, and the work experience certificate issued by a government organization or public listed company is accepted, with the condition that the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting of work is up to Rs 50 lakh.
