The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The available bid capacity is determined by the formula: Available Bid Capacity = [A x N x 2] – 0.33xNxB, where A = Maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year. The bidder needs to furnish details of the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work with no previous work experience required.
