The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing certain similar works during the last 07 years. The similar works can be any of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed similar works for each component with the same cost percentages. The definition of similar work includes laying of HT/LT cables, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical sub-stations, switchgears, and transformers. The cost of substantially completed work is considered as the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount if paid. For completed work, the value of the final bill, including the PVC amount if paid, is considered as the completion cost of work. Work experience certificates from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above are also considered.
