The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work within the last 07 years. These categories include: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The completion cost of a work is considered as the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, with a percentage of completion being 90% or more of the present contract value for substantially completed works. The bidder should submit details of all similar works done in the past, along with attested copies of certificates and relevant documents. Work experience certificates from public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above are also considered. The required prior work experience is related to the financial eligibility criteria, which involves a minimum average annual contractual turnover. The overall cost, including the PVC amount, of completed or substantially completed work is considered for evaluating technical eligibility, without separate evaluation for each component. In the case of partnership firms, the credentials of individual partners are considered to the extent of their share in the previous entity and the newly formed partnership firm.
