North Central Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least 3000 nos. of flash butt weld with a mobile flash butt welding unit in the last three financial years. The bidder should also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as V/N or 'V' whichever is less; V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited.
