North Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing certain categories of work(s) during the last 7 years. The categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For a work to be considered substantially completed, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation) has been made to the contractor. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The value of the work experience is considered based on the payment made to the contractor. The bidder needs to submit certificates and testimonials regarding this experience, along with a list of works carried out in the past. Additionally, for subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
