The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one similar work completed in the last 5 years - The value of the similar work should be at least 35% of the value of the work to be executed - Payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work - The credential certificate for substantially completed work should have been issued not prior to 60 days of the date of invitation of the present tender - The value of the final bill, including the PVC amount, for completed work - The total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, for substantially completed work. Additionally, the bidder must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor is required.
